Thousands of nutritious food packs distributed
Immune-boosting food packs help fight malnutrition among children

Approximately 6000 nutritious food packs have been handed out to local creches, thanks to the generosity of Avis Van Rental Richards Bay.
Avis Van Rental donated money to the Judea Harvest church, which, through its Judea Hope initiative, was able to pack and distribute 6000 nutritional food packs among local creches in November.
Through research and consultation with local nutritional experts, Judea Hope has formulated a dehydrated rice, vegetables and legume-based meal that provides all the macro-nutrient needs for a child and even an adult.
To enhance the nutritional potency of the meal further, a vitamin and mineral sachet was specifically formulated for the meal pack and is included in the packaging. This is added after the meal has been cooked.
These meals a contributing to decreased illnesses among children.
