Richards Bay FC disappoint at home

While they retain their unbeaten home record, the result was not a good one for the NRB team or their supporters

LOOKING for a home win to lift themselves a few places up the log, Richards Bay FC were held to a 0-0 score line at the uMhlathuze Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

While they retain their unbeaten home record, the result was not a good one for the NRB team or their supporters.

Lionel Saal and Moegamat Bernard were especially relentless in stripping the ball off their opponents, time after time.

To be honest, while NRB had the best of the attacking plays, both keepers were virtual spectators and the sides cancelled out each other, with the closest chances falling to the home side, especially in the latter stages.

A joint effort as NRB goalie Xolani Ngcobo and his namesake Njabulo Ngcobo make sure the ball is cleared

Richards Bay will be away to TS Sporting on Saturday.
