MANY local car enthusiasts showed off their fancy wheels on Saturday at the Powerstar car show held at the casino in Empangeni.

Nobody walked past Samit Chimchall from Empangeni’s Citi Golf. The car has been modified from back to front and among many other features, sports a shiny 2.0-litre 16 valve engine with various chromed parts

The mobile dyno machine was again a big hit with the speed brigade having had to queue for a chance to see what their cars really put down when they floor it.

Ricky Chinsamy showed his pride and joy, an original and immaculate 1982 Toyota Cressida GLX. This car is spotless and has only 53 000km on its odometer
