Drenching swim action in the Bay

The heavy rain failed to put a damper on the event, which saw boys and girls aged U9 to open competing for spots at various level and national galas coming up towards the end of the new swim season

AFTER months of vigorous training combined with strict chlorine diets, local swimmers came out and braved the cold rainy weather on Saturday to compete at the Fish Eagles Short Course gala held at the Arboretum municipal swimming pool.

The heavy rain failed to put a damper on the event, which saw boys and girls aged U9 to open competing for spots at various level and national galas coming up towards the end of the new swim season.
