DICE dolls will spread love this Christmas

These soft hand-knitted dolls are the latest project for ZO's charity organisation DICE

AIN’T they sweet?

These soft, hand-knitted dolls are the latest project that the ZO charity organisation DICE (Do I Care Enough?) is facilitating as it continues to spread love and joy through the poorest of Zululand’s homes each Christmas.

The organisation is calling on kind-hearted members of the community to knit the dolls (the pattern is manageable for both beginner and experienced knitters), before allowing DICE to hand them over for ‘adoption’ by little girls throughout are area when they conduct their annual Christmas Cheer Project.

Don’t despair if needlework is not your forte. You can still be a part of the Christmas Cheer Programme by contributing towards their grocery bill as they prepare to hand out around 1 000 buckets filled with groceries during the month of December.

To obtain the simple pattern for the dolls, or to sign up as a ‘bucket volunteer’, please email marilyna.muller@gmail.com or call Marilyn on 083 2724166.
