Colour blind drivers a menace

Just this morning I witnessed five motorists driving through red traffic lights while on my way to work

IS it just me, or are the traffic lights in our city being treated by certain drivers as decorations left over from last Christmas, or do other motorists also notice the dilemma?

Just this morning I witnessed five motorists driving through red traffic lights while on my way to work.

I miraculously avoided a certain accident by slamming on my brakes in anticipation of the vehicle racing to get through a red light from my right.

This is becoming an ever increasing problem owing to the lack of traffic officials stationed at intersections in peak hours, or in fact, at any time of the day.

Traffic officials are nowhere to be seen when this type of behaviour occurs, but they should be more vigilant in town and impose heavy fines on these culprits.

I refuse to believe that there are so many drivers out there that are colour blind.
