GINGINDLOVU SAPS appeal to members of the community to assist in locating a most wanted fugitive.
Sithembiso Mandla Dlamini (25) from KwaHlabisa, escaped from lawful custody shortly after making his court appearance at the Richards Bay Magistrate’s Court on charges of house breaking and theft in July this year.
King Cetshwayo Police Cluster Spokesperson, Captain Mbongeni Mdlalose said they have obtained a warrant of arrest for Dlamini.
‘Dlamini was arrested and charged for business robbery by Gingindlovu SAPS and he was further charged by Richards Bay SAPS for housebreaking and theft.
‘On July 2018, the suspect and others appeared at the Richards Bay Magistrate’s Court and managed to escape from lawful custody and all were re-arrested except him,’ said Mdlalose.
Mdlalose described Dlamini as dark in complexion, well built, and about 1.6 metres tall.
‘We appeal to the members of the community not to try to apprehend him because he is dangerous.’
