USHAKA Swimming Club, coached by Francois Boshoff, has achieved yet another milestone after Dylan Kilian and Mel Lawrence were rewarded for their hard work and determination at the recent Northern KwaZulu-Natal (NKZN) long course championships held in Newcastle.
Kilian was named Victor Ludorum for the long and short course championships for the second consecutive year, while Lawrence claimed the trophy as NKZN Swimmer of the Year.
These two talented swimmers have dominated NKZN galas in Richards Bay as well as in Newcastle.
