Community support animal welfare makeover
Gentle Touch Foundation in Aquadene spent their Saturday morning volunteering at the SPCA
THE Richards Bay SPCA is undergoing a makeover as local businesses and community organisations donate resources and their time towards the facility’s upgrade and repairs.
Spearheading the project is Shirley Davidson of Magic Moments with the help of Derick & Sons and Phumula who have pledged to revamp and repaint the cattery and kennels and collect bricks for an extension on the facility.

Youngsters from community youth movement, Gentle Touch Foundation in Aquadene spent their Saturday morning volunteering at the SPCA cleaning the cattery and spending time with the animals who are up for adoption.
Davidson said the community is welcome to participate in the revamp project and businesses or members who would like to contribute or volunteer can contact her on 076 7548948.
