Local musician says TDK Macassette stole his song and made it her won
A ZULULAND musician has claimed gqom queen, TDK Macassette stole his music.
KingCize told the ZO he gave permission for his track ‘Pitipiti’ to be used by a local crew Ama-Penguins.
According to KingCize the group then asked TDK Macassette to sing the chorus for them.
‘The Penguin boys decided to redo the song this year in Durban and had my permission.
‘They requested TDK Macassette to be with them in studio but then she double-crossed the boys and released the song as her own, titled, Domoroza ,’ said KingCize.
‘When I called her about this she disrespected me and swore at me. She said I must talk to her lawyers.
‘We have all the witnesses and files but we helpless since she has power and registered the song first.
But at the end, the evil never wins,’ he explained.
