A MAN who raped his own sister has been sentenced at the Empangeni Regional Court to 10 years behind bars after several court appearances.
The case against the 23-year-old Nhlabosini Reserve resident was opened in February this year by a complainant, aged 14.

KwaMbonambi Police Captain, Nkosingiphile Mthethwa confirmed that the complainant who raped repeatedly by her brother, who threatened to kill her if she reported the matter.
‘We are happy that this case has come to an end after dragging for a long time. At some stage it was transferred to KwaMsane Family Violence Child Protection and Sexual Offences Unit for further investigation,’ she said.
