Illegal weapons seized in Mbonambi
The operation was carried out in the early hours of the morning
AN intelligence-driven operation was recently carried out in Nhlabane after information of unlicensed firearms in the area.
In conjunction with Durban Public Order Policing, KwaMbonambi SAPS carried out the raid in the early hours of the morning of 22 August.

One man was found with a 9mm firearm and seven live rounds of ammunition.
Another man was found with a firearm pistol and four live rounds of ammunition, while three live rounds of ammunition were found in the possession of a third.
The three were arrested and detained at KwaMbonambi Police Station where they await their court appearance.
