One dead in taxi crash on Ngwelezana Road

POLICE have confirmed that a case of culpable homicide has been opened after one person was killed in a collision on Ngwelezana Road on Sunday morning.

The motorist was declared dead at the scene when the vehicle he was travelling in collided with a minibus taxi.

Reports indicated that 14 taxi occupants suffered minor to serious injuries.

They were treated at the scene and some were taken to Ngwelezana Hospital and Ngwelezana Clinic.
