eShowe’s Justine Palframan has made the cut for two international athletics meetings later this year.

She is part of the 39-member team to represent South Africa at the 2018 World Cup being held in London from 14 to 15 July.

Justine will participate in the Women’s 200 and 400 metre events, and also the 4×400 metre relay with Caster Semenya, Wenda Nel, Ariane Nel and Rorisang Ramonye.

She has also been selected as a member of a preliminary team selected by Athletics South Africa (ASA) for the 2018 CAA African Senior Championships to be held in Asaba, Nigeria between 1-5 August.

The ASA uses the biennial continental championships to prepare teams for the 2019 IAAF World Senior Championships.

Justine and Tamzin Thomas have been selected for the 200 metre, while she is paired with Caster Semenya for the 400 metre race.

The South African team for the 4×400 metre relay is Palframan, Semenya, Wenda Nel, Zeney van der Walt and Ariane Nel.

The final national team will be announced in July closer to the event.
