eShowe notice of water interruptions

Water supply to some residential areas and the eShowe central business district will be interrupted on Wednesday to allow for a new pipeline connection to be installed.

Spokesperson for the King Cetshwayo District Municipality, Rekha Naidoo, said the maintenance was part of the eShowe Phase 2 water upgrade project.

She said the pipeline supplying eShowe town, King Dinizulu suburb, Norwood and Sunnydale will be shut down from 6pm and work will be carried out throughout the night.

‘The shutdown will last between five to 10 hours,’ Naidoo said.
