Nair and Desan in fine form
Golfers flocked down to participate in the Midbay Motors golf day at the Empangeni Country Club
GOLFERS flocked down to participate in the Midbay Motors golf day at the Empangeni Country Club on Saturday with the hopes of driving home in a new car.
But just like a carrot being dangled in front of a donkey, so was the case when no one landed a hole-in-one on the 14th to claim the new wheels.
Otherwise, Krishna Nair and Ian Desan were in fine form, recording a mammoth 56 points during their 18-hole round to claim overall honours on the day.
They were closely chased by second placed Lucas Landman and Tertius Gresse who ended on 53 points.
Clement Sibiya and R Dube settled for third with 52 points.
