Riders take on the Big 5 in Hluhluwe

The 25km race was won by Jason Ackerman in a time of 1:05:07 and the 50km by Andrew Johnson with the stop watch on 1:47:22

SUNDAY morning saw 151 riders tackle the 25km and 137 the 50km track of the Hluhluwe The Cycle of Life Rhino Charge MTB race, the second in the 2018 Bell Big 5 MTB Series.

The 25km race was won by Jason Ackerman in a time of 1:05:07 and the 50km by Andrew Johnson with the stop watch on 1:47:22.

The first woman home in the 25km was Lize Swanepoel, while in the 50km race, Hayley Smith crossed the finish line in 2:04:20.
