Suspect arrested for homemade firearm
A 39-year-old suspect was arrested during a stop and search operation conducted last night in KwaMsane
KWAMSANE police continue to crack down on criminal elements in the Mfekayi Reserve area.
Last night at about 11.30pm, a 39-year-old male suspect was apprehended for possession of a homemade firearm.
This followed a stop-and-search operation in the Mfekayi area conducted by KwaMsane police and uMkhanyakude Operational Command Centre (OCC).

‘Our members recovered a homemade firearm with seven rounds of ammunition and the suspect was arrested on scene.
‘He is expected to appear at the KwaMsane Magistrate’s Court,’ said KwaMsane police spokesperson, Captain Jabulani Mdletshe.
