Huge turnout for Mondi School’s event

The local government school had 1 304 entries, with Arboretum Primary coming in at second with 1 041 entries and earning R17 000

RICHARDS Bay Primary School bagged a cheque of R21 000 for having the most entries at the popular annual Mondi School’s 5km run/walk held on Sunday morning at the Bay Hall.

The local government school had 1 304 entries, with Arboretum Primary coming in at second with 1 041 entries and earning R17 000.

Little Kirav Naidoo and Kevin Naidoo represented Richards Bay Primary School

Bay Primary came in at third with 425 entries and being rewarded with R15 000.

Over 3 600 people took to the course and enjoyed a morning of exercise.

Twenty four local schools were represented on the day at the event.
