Five-hour highway shutdown as truck overturns
The accident took place on the N2 near Mtuba this morning
A TRUCK driver was killed this morning in an accident, which closed the N2 between Mtubatuba and Hluhluwe for over five hours.
The incident occurred at about 6am, in the vicinity of the Charters Creek exit, near Mcakwini, north of Mtubatuba.
According to KwaMsane SAPS Communications Officer, Captain Jabulani Mdletshe, the truck driver, Brusah Kutshwa from Zimbabwe, died on scene and his body was transported to Mtubatuba mortuary.

A case of culpable homicide has been opened and the cause of the accident is under police investigation.
No other vehicles were involved in the accident.
