Spelling Bee buzzes in St Lucia

The spelling competition, hosted by St Lucia Library, included a panel of four adjudicators with competition split into two categories, isiZulu and English

TWELVE learners of Mzabalazo and Buhlebemvelo Primary Schools recently competed in a Spelling Bee competition.

The spelling competition, hosted by St Lucia Library, included a panel of four adjudicators with competition split into two categories, isiZulu and English.

The isiZulu competition was won by Andiswa Gina, with Zamankosi Ndlovu in second place and Bongekile Sibiya in third.

The runners-up were Siyanda Gina, Siyabonga Manzini and Nothando Mbuyazi.

Asanda Buthelezi took first place in the English competition, with Siyanda Mthiyane in second place and Geneva Gemma in third.

The runners-up were Philsizwe Ahmed, Zulelihle Zulu and Nolwazi Mngomezulu.
