FOLLOWING up on information into a robbery investigation unsuspectingly led Richards Bay SAPS to a group of suspects dealing in drugs.
Richards Bay police were investigating information about suspected stolen property in Mzingazi on Sunday midday when they entered a property and uncovered five bags of dagga, 175 mandrax tablets and suspected stolen property items.
The police officers were making enquiries about stolen cellphones, which were believed to have been sold at the property, when they found the door open and a suspect was packing dagga in the lounge area.

The case is being investigated by organised crime and at this stage police cannot rule out the possibility of the suspected stolen property being linked to other crimes.
