Impassable road sees doctor airlifted to hospital
Following the heavy rains last week, the road between eShowe and the hospital was washed away at a river crossing
ON Saturday, an Entumeni farmer airlifted a doctor to the Mbongolwane Hospital as he was unable to travel by road.
Following the heavy rains last week, the road between eShowe and the hospital was washed away at a river crossing.
Dr Eric Britz needed to get to the hospital for an emergency and he contacted Gary Pedlar who offered him the services of his helicopter.
Dr Britz has since been able to return to eShowe by road.
