‘It’s scary - especially towards the middle, where it’s bouncy and unstable' - Unizulu student
AROUND three hundred Unizulu students are having to cross a make-shift bridge every day, with the sole purpose of halving the time it would take to get to their lectures by using any of the other routes available to them.

The bridge itself, made from a few wooden beams, ply wood and nails, is believed to have been constructed by a number of engineering students at Unizulu.
It runs over a stream which known to flood during the rainy season.
