The Other Guys claim victory

Eight teams entered the Gracon Cup

THE Other Guys managed to claim a 1-0 win in the soccer finals against Kempston After Shock, to claim victory and bragging rights at the Gracon Cup, which was held on Saturday at the Empangeni Rugby Club.

The eight sides that entered the competition brought animal food as an entry to play, which was all donated to the Empangeni SPCA.

The teams were split into two pools, and followed a round robin system, collecting points as they played.

‘All teams had a blast today and produced some sensational soccer. I would like to thank Gracon Engineering and Pedro Ferreira for getting behind us this year,’ said organiser Nytasha Graff.
