An arson case is under investigation after a Zululand Councillor's house was set-alight
A house and bakkie belonging to uMhlabuyalingana Ward 17 Councillor Nhlankanipho Tembe was set alight on Sunday morning in the Ngozini area.
Tembe was asleep when he was woken by his vehicle’s alarm.
According to the provincial police spokesperson, Captain Nqobile Gwala, when Tembe went out to investigate he discovered that his house and the bakkie were on fire.
‘ A case of arson is under investigation and no arrest has been made,’ she said
