SAPS begin physical fitness programme

They gathered at Addison Park at the weekend where they were put to the test through a series of strenuous exercises

IN an attempt to maintain their physical fitness and better their health and lifestyle, members of Empangeni and eSikhaleni SAPS have begun a fitness programme.

They gathered at Addison Park at the weekend where they were put to the test through a series of strenuous exercises.

Sprints, push-ups, sit-ups and various other aerobic exercises were on the cards for the day to establish each member’s fitness levels and to motivate them to become healthier.

The exercises were divided into certain age categories, which determined how many sets and reps each member was required to complete within a certain time period.
