IN keeping with technological progress, the Nkandla Municipality has embarked on a programme to install wi-fi systems at four schools in the area.
The schools are Bizimali High School, Velangaye High, Lushaba High and Mabhuqwini High.
Nkandla Mayor Thamsanqa Ntuli said the four schools were selected on the basis of their excellent matric performances.

‘Our aim is to assist the schools to have access to the internet which will help learners in their academic work,’ said Ntuli.
He emphasised that the facility will also be available to communities in the immediate vicinity of the schools.
Learners will not be allowed to use the internet access for social networks.
