KWAMSANE police are appealing for witnesses or any information surrounding a house break-in and vehicle theft in Mfekayi near Mtubatuba.
The incident occurred in the early hours of 15 April.
Four suspects broke into the house of Leonard Mohlolo, waking him up and claiming to be police officers looking for firearms.
Once inside the house, the suspects demanded the keys to Mohlolo’s vehicle, a white Toyota Legend.

Mohlolo and his wife were tied with cable ties and bundled into the vehicle.
The suspects then drove the vehicle towards Hluhluwe, along back roads and the railway line.
According to KwaMsane SAPS Communications Officer Captain Jabulani Mdletshe, Mohlolo was hit on his head with a firearm and his wife slapped in the face.
KwaMsane SAPS have opened a case of house robbery but no suspects have yet been arrested.
Police are concerned that this is a case of cross-border crime.
