A RICHARDS Bay man is set to spend a total of 15 years in prison after being found guilty of rape and attempted murder.
The Richards Bay Regional Court on Monday found Nkululeko Mdakane (21) guilty.
The incident occurred in March last year when he emerged from the bushes in Birdswood and threatened his victim with a knife, demanding money and a cell phone.
