Easter conference focused on education

Christians stress the need for education

EDUCATION took centre stage at this year’s Easter Conference organised by Tehillah Worship Centre International (TWCI) held at KwaDlangezwa.

More than 50 saints, dressed in academic attire attended the church service which was addressed by the church’s leader Apostle Mbongeni Shange.

In his address to the conference, Shange said the reason behind the exclusive service was to provoke and inspire Tehillah’s adulate education.

‘Apart from praise and worship, we are also here to instill a love for education from Christians as the Bible says, people perish because of lack of knowledge.

‘The time we are living in requires people of the church who are going to be experts in all fields. This is the only way we can take over everything, as God says it.

‘If we suffer from poverty of the mind, we can’t do everything and therefore we are good for nothing,’ he said.

Sharing the same platform was Professor Ngeni Ntombela, who works for the University of North West, who encouraged learners to focus on their studies.

The guest speaker of the day was famous author and public speaker, Max Moyo, who used the podium to encourage young people to start writing books.

The service was culminated by a special prayer by Apostle Shange who blessed everyone who came to the Easter conference.
