An action-packed local movie night
Zululanders enjoyed a home brewed film at Ngwelezana on Thursday night
Thursday night was movie night in Zululand.
Zululanders flocked to the uThungulu Community Hall in Ngwelezana for the screening of locally produced film, Umjondolo.
Written and directed by Dave Tembson Mhlongo, the homebrew production tells the fascinating story of a street thug who risks his life to find his father.
The story line includes action, romance and suspense, which left the audience on the edge of their seats.
‘I can’t even begin to describe the happiness I experienced having my work viewed on an open platform. I am even more humbled by the support of Zululanders who came out in numbers to view this film.
‘I promise to bring more local stories to the people and grow the art of filmmaking in the area,’ said Mhlongo.
