Mtunzini and St Lucia need urgent votes

TWO Zululand towns have been selected as KZN finalists in the kykNet TV channel’s annual ‘Dorp van die Jaar’ (Town of the Year) competition and locals are called upon to furiously vote this week to ensure their towns make it to the national finals.

During Sunday night’s broadcast of Kwêla, Mtunzini and St Lucia made it through to the semi-finals and the town gathering the most number of votes this week will go through and compete against the other eight provincial finalists for the grand prize.

The third KZN town nominated was Howick.

Zululanders are urged to vote by sending an SMS with the town’s name to 33157.
