Nkwalini road closure alert

Following the alleged shooting by a security officer of a trespasser on a farm at Nkwaleni, the community is planning an illegal march from the uMlalazi Community Hall on the Nkwalini road to the security company’s offices in the centre of eShowe.

The R66 road could be closed for the duration of the march.

A number of businesses in the town are closing for the day as a precautionary measure.

Motorists are advised to be vigilant of the situation in the area.
