Burnt car stripped for scrap

THE charred remains of the vehicle that went up in flames on the John Ross Parkway almost two weeks ago was on Tuesday stripped and hauled away for scrap.

Whether an official scrapping operation or not, the car will no longer be an eyesore on the side of the road, where it had been left for more than a week after burning out.
