EMPANGENI High School (EHS) scooped a number of awards at the recent Ngwelezana Circuit Awards Function.
Thirty five EHS teachers received certificates, awarding them recognition for achieving a 100% pass rate and distinctions in their particular teaching fields.
The school itself received awards in the following categories:

• Best in Culture
• Best in Sport
• Highest Bachelors in the Circuit
• Best Art & Culture In Provincial Level
• Best Art & Culture In National Level
• Best Art & Culture In International Level
• Best Projects District Level – Eskom
• Best Projects Provincial Level – KZN IT
• Best Projects International Level – Eskom
• Best Sport Provincial Level
• Best Sport National Level – Swimming
