Mthonjaneni head-on collision resulted in the death of a woman

A head-on collision on the R34, Mthonjaneni, on the notorious stretch of road near Oom Wessels se Winkel resulted in the death of a woman on Friday morning.

SAPS are investigating a case of culpable homicide after the VW polo was thrown off the road, entrapping the driver, after colliding with a with a BMW, whose driver reportedly fled the scene.

Fire & Rescue members used the Jaws of Life to extract the woman’s entrapped body.
