Richards Bay youth project reaches out to community

The foundation's teen groups enjoyed sport activities, fun and games

LOCAL youth initiative, Gentle Touch Foundation and Tyson Properties Richards Bay teamed up recently to host a fun day with children of the Ngwelezana Place of Safety.

Linah Marijeni, Zoleka Sibiya, Thabi Mahlangu, Kameya Chinsamy, Trish Moodley and Thubelihle Mtetwa of Tyson Properties Richards Bay donated refreshments for the 50 children at the centre

The foundation’s teen groups, Standing Strong (girls) and Barrier Breakers (boys) as well as staff of Tyson Properties enjoyed some sport activities, fun and games and lunch with the children at the centre.

GTF team coordinators – Kwazi Mpongose, Lynette Dunn, Conelia Harry and Chace Lucas facilitated the outreach event

Local model Tamica Biggar sponsored the party packs for the 50 children, Tyson Properties contributed meals and refreshments and DICE ( Do I Care Enough?) donated bags of clothing, shoes and educational resources.
