PRESIDENT of the Zululand Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Judith Nzimande, has welcomed the announcement of the new cabinet by President Cyril Ramaphosa.
‘It is especially welcoming to see Nhlanhla Nene back in the Finance portfolio, where stability is vital for South Africa’s economic recovery,’ said Nzimande.
The appointment of various other new ministers in the economic cluster, including Pravin Gordhan in the Public Enterprises portfolio and Gwede Mantashe in Mineral Resources, is also welcomed.
Nzimande said she looked forward to working with the new Minister of Water and Sanitation, Gugile Nkwinti, during the construction of the vital pipeline from the Tugela River to Goedertrouw Dam.
‘I wish all the cabinet members success in their efforts to ensure economic growth, political stability, environmental sustainability and social well-being of all South Africans,’ she said.
