NAAS Strydom and partner Andre Dewinnar proved too sharp and accurate for their fellow competition, after the pair pinned down the Empangeni Rugby Football Club Doubles Darts Competition title on Saturday.
The duo who are part of the Empangeni Darts Association produced top darts on the day in their 701 matches.
Fourteen teams were split into two pools which followed a round robin format during the pool games.

The top two sides from each pool qualified for the knock-outs.
Teams competed in the best of three 701 matches, with the semis and finals being the best of four and five respectively.
Herman Steyn and his partner Masande Mgedeza ended in second spot, after going down to Strydom and Dewinnar in a hotly contested final.
