Richards Bay’s very own ‘Woodstock’ grabbed a 'peace' of the action

THREE rural crèches will benefit from yet another highly successful Rotary Richards Bay ‘Music Trivia’ fund-raiser held at the Country Club on Friday.

At the start of the evening Rotary President Don Voysey made an impassioned plea for support during a slide presentation that showed small children with no proper shelter, mattresses, tables or chairs at the crèches.

His appeal was wholeheartedly met by the teams, with the great fun of the music quiz being overshadowed by announcements of donations that kept pouring in.

This included about R77 000 in cash and an offer to erect a concrete slab and roof at one crèche.
