THE themes, ‘Scapes’ and ‘Repetition’ presented interesting challenges in the Beachcombers Photography Club’s member competition for February.
The usual images of exceptional standard were also received in the ‘Open’ section.
With the winning images were:
Theme 1: Scapes – Nobby Clarke – Storm Brewing (Certificate of Merit)
Theme 2: Repetition – Nobby Clarke – Ship Ahoy (Certificate of Merit)
Open Winner: Cornelius van der Merwe – In for the kill (Certificate of Merit)
Junior Winner – Richard Wentzel – Boris Bikes (Certificate of Merit)
Additional Certificates of Merit: Nobby Clarke – Builders Market
Next meeting will host the interesting themes of ‘Human Portraits’ and ‘Selective Focus’.
Visitors and photographers are invited as guests on the first Tuesday of every month at Splendid Inn Bayshore, Meerensee in Richards Bay.
Induction for new members starts at at 6:15pm and the club meeting at 7pm sharp.
