LOCAL wrestling star Klein Jan Combrink (18) will be competing in the Commonwealth Wrestling Championships hosted by South Africa from 5 to 7 December at Kempton Park, Johannesburg.
Combrinck wrestled his way to the number one spot at the recent trials for the SA wrestling team.
Klein Jan will be flying to Johannesburg to join the team on 30 November and will compete in the Men’s Greco Roman Style Division for over 20 years (Seniors) in the 55-60kg weight division.
Participating countries include South Africa, Australia, India, Canada, Pakistan, England, Scotland, Nigeria and others.
