Hospital seeks deceased patient’s family
The 56-year old white woman was admitted to the hospital on 12 December following a referral by Ngwelezana Clinic
SOCIAL workers and mortuary staff at Ngwelezana Hospital are teaming up to find the relatives of a woman who died there in December.
The 56-year old white woman was admitted to the hospital on 12 December following a referral by Ngwelezana Clinic.
She remained under medical care in Ward ‘C’ until her death on 31 December.
To date her body has not been claimed, nor have there been any enquiries about her at any of the wards or in the mortuary.
Anyone with information that may prove helpful is asked to contact the hospital’s tertiary social worker, Ms Biyela. on 035 9017218, or the Mortuary Officer Mrs Buthelezi on 035 9017026.
