First things first: start by using an oil-free moisturiser with a high SPF factor.
If you have oily skin or are prone to heavy sweating, apply vanishing cream to your T-zone.

Most makeup artists recommend an oil-free, mattifying primer as a good weather-proof foundation.
You should even apply primer to your eyelids to keep the eye shadow from melting off.
Try to avoid thick foundation in summer time – it will only make your face feel hotter, which will result in more sweat.
The best trick to keep it light and simple is by investing in a good multi-purpose CC cream.
If you don’t have problem skin, just go for a tinted moisturiser.
Set your make-up with a thin layer of translucent powder, but not too much, otherwise your skin will end up looking cakey.

Waterproof mascara is your best friend in hot, humid weather, and the same goes for eyeliner and lipstick.
