What you need to know about the latest Facebook changes
Follow this step-by-step guide to ensure that The Zululand Observer stays on top of your Facebook news feed

Facebook recently announced that they will make changes to its news feed so that media content will no longer be as widespread as always.
Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg said in a statement that Facebook’s goal is to connect people and have them share stories and memories amongst their Facebook friends.
“Based on this, we’re making a major change to how we build Facebook.
“I’m changing the goal I give our product teams from focusing on helping you find relevant content to help you have more meaningful social interactions.
“As we roll this out, you’ll see less public content like posts from businesses, brands, and media.”
Be sure to prioritise the Zululand Observer and follow these steps to ensure you never miss a thing:
When you select a person or page to see first, their posts appear at the top of your news feed. The person or page won’t know you selected them.
- First, go to your “News Feed Preferences”. (You will find an arrow next to your notifications globe. Click on the arrow and scroll down to news feed preferences.)

- Next, click “Prioritize who to see first”.

- Select a person or page to see first. You can select up to 30 people or pages to see first.

- If you’re not already following the profile or page, click Follow near their cover photo.
- Hover over Following or Liked near their cover photo.
- Select “See First”.
