Mthonjaneni municipality blesses its residents - especially Gogo Ntshangase

Mayor Biyela cuts the ribbon at the official handover of Gogo Ntshangase's new home. He was accompanied by Deputy Mayor P Ntombela, Speaker NA Mbatha, Cllr EM Masikana, Ward Cllr TF Zincume, Cllr DF Xulu, Cllr ME Zulu, Municipal Manager P Sibiya, Technical Services Director SF Mchunu and other municipal staff

THE most welcome gift arrived over the festive season for Ward 9 resident Bongekile Ntshangase of Nsimbakazi, when Mthonjaneni Mayor SBK Biyela handed her the keys to a new house.

The dwelling was built courtesy of Mthonjaneni councillors, assisted by independent businessmen.

Accompanied by his officials and fellow councillors, the handover of the fully furnished home was made even more inspiring when Gogo Ntshangase’s disabled son was also given a wheelchair and she and other gogos received food parcels.
