A CHOIR of angles, an evening of joy and song, a gathering of the community.
That is what you have to look forward to when you bring your family to celebrate the meaning of Christmas, at the annual Zululand Observer/DICE (Do I Care Enough?) carols by candlelight on Tuesday, 19 December.
A favorite on the community calendar, it sees people of all ages gathering on the lawns of the Zululand Observer in Empangeni’s Bain Street to share in the joy of Christmas.
Entrance is free, and you’re invited to set up your camping chairs, spread out your blankets, and open your picnic baskets from 5.30pm.
The programme – around one hour long – will begin at 6pm.
‘Dear Father Christmas…’
Please encourage your younger children to bring along their letters to Father Christmas, which will be officially packed into the letter box and mailed to the North Pole that very night.
Your children are also invited to bring along glow sticks, and to brush up their Christmas carol knowledge before the event – we would like the joy of the season to be heard from far and wide.
