Administration block completed at Manzimpo Primary in Nseleni

THE generosity of local farmers was honoured at Manzimpofu Primary School in KwaKhoza Reserve during a special thanks-giving ceremony.

Noeleen and Greg Duncan from Knowhere Farm situated in the area were perfect examples of charity that begins at home following their major donation towards the building of the brand new administration block at the school in 2011.

School Principal Dudu Nzama expressed her gratitude during the ceremony and said she was overwhelmed by the love, support and assistance by her neighbourings.

‘I spoke to Mrs Duncan about the need for an administration block and she phoned me on the same day, informing me that they will be delivering materials to the school,’ said Nzama.

‘Our grass is cut every month and she teaches English to our Grade 4 pupils. To us, the family have been a blessing from God,’ Nzama added

In her speech she also thanked Richards Bay Primary for books and desks donations to the school.

The School Governing Body (SGB) members, uThungulu District Department of Education representatives and the local ward councillor also attended the function and thanked all those involved for their contribution.

The Duncan Building include two offices, a kitchen, strong room and a waiting room.
