To the person who dumped loads of electrical cables and general rubbish next to the road on Pelican Island on 1 November (see photograph).
Pelican Island is not the new official landfill, as you seem to think.
Nothing has changed, you must still take your rubbish to the depot in Alton for disposal.
The only thing that’s changed is your attitude and laziness.
Why don’t you dump it in your own front yard? Because it’s unsightly!
You would rather make places like Pelican Island – where people go to enjoy themselves – look like a tip.
What a selfish attitude – as long as your own little environment is nice and tidy, you don’t care about anyone else.
